About Austin

When I was 19 I had my first international experience through College of the Ozarks. I was given a trip to Italy to study the early church and my life was changed forever! I quickly caught the travel bug and began learning as many languages as I could and I couldn't quench the urge to go! 

Now, at 22, after 3 more trips and countless hours spent studying new languages and researching other cultures, I've decided to set an ambitious goal for myself... 


All 7 continents before I turn 25!

Why?

I've always loved to learn.
Between watching the Discovery, Travel, and National Geographic channels growing up, to spending hours reading and researching to give reports to my family about every animal and place known to man; it's been my passion to soak up knowledge and share it with others.

As I've grown older, this desire has only grown. with one addition...Now I have the opportunity to experience these places, animals, and peoples all for myself firsthand! So...Why not?

Everyone and everything has a story to tell, they just need a means to share it!

How?

Planes, trains, automobiles, buses, taxis, subways, horseback, swimming, walking, ferries, canoes...

Whatever it takes!

Yes, I work hard and often to earn these opportunities, but it seems that anything the Lord desires to be done...Gets done! He's provided for me this far, and I know He will continue to provide as long as I give Him the glory and listen to His calling.

Like ancient travelers used to trust their guiding light, Polaris, I too have chosen to trust in the guiding light provided to Jesus Christ my Savior. He is my constant no matter where I am: A strong foundation on which I can build my life.

He is how I can do this without fear or question!
